Launched in 2018 by Prana is the largest authentic Phinisi of her size, a 55-metre hand-crafted sailing vessel for charter rooted in one of the oldest maritime traditions in the world. The Indonesian Phinisi has been crossing these waters for centuries. Prana does it at an unprecedented level of comfort

She is owned and operated by the Atzaro Group, a luxury hospitality brand known for its hotels, restaurants and beach clubs from Ibiza to South Africa. That background shows in every detail on board. Soft linens in taupe and cream, authentic colonial timbers, two resident spa therapists in the Atelier de Beauté, a yoga deck, an outdoor cinema under open sky and nine air-conditioned cabins for up to 18 guests, all served by a crew of 21.

The itinerary is fixed and seasonal: Raja Ampat from January to April and December, the Spice Islands in May and November, and Komodo National Park from June to October. Three of the most biologically rich and visually extraordinary cruising grounds on earth, each in their best season. Diving is included for certified guests, guided by a personal divemaster and instructor on board. The world below the surface here is as extraordinary as the one above it.

Largest Authentic Phinisi of Her Size

Built using traditional Indonesian methods and materials by Yachtsourcing in 2018. At 55 metres she is the largest authentic Phinisi of her size afloat, carrying 20,000 nautical miles of range on a hand-crafted wooden hull.

Prana is owned by the Atzaro Group, whose luxury hotels, restaurants and beach clubs operate from Ibiza to South Africa. That hospitality DNA runs through every aspect of life on board, from the Atelier de Beauté spa to the ratio of 21 crew looking after 18 guests.

The 77m² Master Suite

The master suite occupies the upper deck and extends to 77 square metres, with 180-degree views, a 20-square-metre private aft terrace, twin vanities and a double rain shower. A space that would hold its own in any five-star hotel, now sailing through the Indonesian archipelago.

Outdoor Cinema and Yoga Deck

The top deck serves two very different purposes. By day it is a dedicated yoga deck, open to the sky with the Indonesian coastline as a backdrop. After dark it becomes an outdoor cinema. Both experiences benefit from being at sea in a way that nothing ashore can replicate.

The Phinisi is to Indonesian seafaring what the dhow is to the Arabian Gulf and the junk is to the South China Sea: a vessel with centuries of cultural and maritime weight behind every plank. Building one to 55 metres in 2018, using authentic methods and materials, and then fitting her with nine air-conditioned cabins, an onboard spa and 21 crew, is an act of ambition. Prana embodies tradition, while refusing to sacrifice a single comfort in the process. The wooden hull, the traditional rigging, the handcrafted details throughout: all of it is real, and none of it compromises life, but only adds to it.

The Atzaro Group has spent years defining what luxury hospitality looks like across Ibiza and South Africa, from boutique hotels in the Ibizan countryside to beach clubs and restaurants built around the idea that exceptional experience is in the details. Prana carries that sensibility to sea. The two resident spa therapists, the Atelier de Beauté, the soft colonial-toned interiors, the quality of food and service, the 21-strong crew operating at a near one-to-one ratio with 18 guests: this is what happens when a serious hospitality group builds a yacht rather than a yacht company trying to approximate a hotel.

Three Islands. Three Seasons.

Few charter yachts in the world operate with this kind of seasonal intentionality. Prana moves between Raja Ampat, widely regarded as containing the most diverse marine ecosystem on the planet, the Spice Islands of Maluku, where the ancient trade routes of cloves and nutmeg run through the water, and Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site where prehistoric dragons share the coastline with some of the best drift diving anywhere on earth. Each destination receives its own season. A divemaster and dive instructor travel with the yacht year-round. Diving is included for certified guests, and PADI courses are available on board for those who want to earn their qualification.

Warmth at Every Level

Prana accommodates up to 18 guests across nine air-conditioned cabins, each with a private en suite, mini fridge, Smart TV and sound system. The interiors carry taupe and cream linens paired with authentic colonial timber throughout, warm and considered in a way that suits the pace of life on board. The master suite on the upper deck extends to 77 square metres with 180-degree views and a 20-square-metre private aft terrace. The Grand Suite, also on the upper deck, runs to 37 square metres with a super king bed and windows on both sides. Below these, two deluxe, four superior and two standard suites complete a tiered cabin structure that offers something genuinely distinct at every level of the yacht.

Twenty-one crew for eighteen guests is a ratio that reflects the Atzaro Group's approach to hospitality: attentive, personalised and never performative. The galley team works with what Indonesia offers, which at any given anchorage means exceptional fresh fish, tropical fruit and ingredients tied to centuries of local culinary tradition. Two spa therapists are available throughout the charter, offering treatments on deck, in the Atelier de Beauté, or in the privacy of your cabin. A personal divemaster and dive instructor travel with Prana year-round, guiding certified guests through the reefs and managing PADI courses for those working toward certification. This is a crew built around a philosophy, not a roster.

The Ocean Is Your Playground

In Raja Ampat, Komodo and the Spice Islands, the sea does most of the work. Prana ensures guests can engage with it at every level. An 8-metre inflatable waterslide turns any calm anchorage into an afternoon of unscheduled entertainment. Stand-up paddleboards and sea kayaks let guests explore the coastline under their own steam. Wakeboards, water skis, a kneeboard and inflatable donuts cover the towable and adrenaline end of the spectrum. Snorkelling equipment is available throughout, and for certified divers, the full scuba programme runs daily, guided by a dedicated divemaster with complete knowledge of local sites. Fishing equipment rounds out a collection built not to replicate a Mediterranean toy deck but to suit the extraordinary environment Prana actually sails in.
