Clive is the onboard cruise director on DUNIA BARU. There is pretty much nothing Clive doesn’t know about the waters of Indonesia. Having been a dive instructor and underwater photographer in the area for many years, with a maritime career spanning 30 years, Clive is a walking, talking directory of all the possibilities an Indonesia yacht charter offers. With a speciality in mixed gas, wreck and deep diving, Clive takes guests on incredible diving excursions. As Clive says, ‘the convergence of the Indian and Pacific Oceans creates one of the most ecologically diverse places on the planet. You can find virtually any marine creature in these waters, whether looking for small critters in the Lembeh strait or swimming with whale sharks and manta rays in Komodo and Raja Ampat.”
Stewardess Kirstin is a master mixologist who creates bespoke cocktails for guests on board charter yacht CALYPSO. Able to whip up delicious concoctions with your favourite ingredients, Kirstin puts the happy in happy hour. Her flair for creative cocktails is always a hit with guests but she is just as skilled when it comes to the classics. Her smoked old fashioned is famous, served under a cloche with theatrical smoke to add to the effect, it doesn’t just taste amazing, it looks great too.
Captain Mike Broughton is an immensely skilled sailor. As a Royal Navy commando helicopter pilot and world championship yacht racer, Mike’s background is as impressive as it is anecdote-worthy. He shares his navigation skills with guests on STATE OF GRACE, teaching them the influence of the weather and even how to consult the stars since knowledge of astronomy can help at sea. His passion for sailing is infectious and guests on board STATE OF GRACE, experienced sailors or not, will have a thing or two to learn from someone as knowledgeable as Mike.
First Officer Foy represented his native Fiji in swimming and surfing. More at home on and in the water than anywhere else, Foy’s surfing prowess is a gift to the guests on board DRIFTWOOD. When he isn’t on board the yacht he spends all his free time surfing Cloudbreak in Fiji and, with the amazing collection of surf and kite boards that the yacht carries, guests can mine Foy for all his pro tips to ride the waves like the best of them.
Stewardess Megan is a fully qualified beautician, hairdresser and masseuse. Her healing hands will pamper SANGHA’s charter guests with rejuvenating massage treatments to invigorate even the most tired of muscles. Rest and relaxation never felt so good as it does from the indulgent foredeck cabana on board charter yacht SANGHA, with only the gentle lapping of the water against the hull as the soundtrack.
Deckhand Dillon isn’t just in charge of keeping superyacht GALENE in ship shape. Not only has his kite boarding career taken him all over South Africa and the East coast of the USA, Dillon is the dedicated drone operator on board GALENE.
