Marla is a luxury motor yacht for charter designed for serious cruising with a range exceeding 6,000 nautical miles. Built by Amels in 1999, designed inside and out by Terence Disdale, and freshly emerged from an extensive 2026 refit, she is a 50-metre motor yacht for charter that always arrives in exceptional style.
The 2026 refit refreshed everything. A reimagined main deck salon and dining area, new tactile materials, refreshed outdoor fabrics and awnings, and a curated art collection that gives every space a distinct personality.

ON BOARD
Terence Disdale has been shaping the look of serious motor yachts since the 1970s. His work carries a particular quality: interiors that feel genuinely residential rather than showroom-ready, with a warmth and depth that comes from years of understanding how people actually live on boats. Marla carries that quality throughout, and the 2026 refit has brought new materials, new artwork and a refreshed colour palette that breathes without disturbing the integrity of the original vision. The main deck salon moves from formal to casual depending on who is on board and what the evening calls for. The art collection gives every room a point of view. This is a motor yacht for charter with a distinct identity.
On Board
Marla's upper decks are where the day unfolds. The skylounge bar offers a panoramic, shaded space for coffee in the morning and cocktails whenever the mood arrives, with seating that shifts between social and solitary without effort. Up on the sundeck, the Jacuzzi sits at the centre of a well-thought-out arrangement of sunpads and lounging areas, all freshly upholstered in 2026. The sundeck projector makes evenings under the sky genuinely cinematic. A gym with current equipment ensures that the week on board need not interrupt any fitness routine that matters. Multiple outdoor dining options span the main deck aft and the sundeck, letting guests choose between shade and sun, formal and alfresco.
On Board
Marla was designed from the outset for serious cruising, and her numbers reflect that. A displacement steel hull, twin Cummins engines producing 1,200hp each, zero-speed stabilisers and a range exceeding 6,000 nautical miles make her a yacht capable of going well beyond the conventional charter circuit. In practice, that means the itinerary can stretch from the Ionian to the Cyclades to the Dodecanese and back without the range ever becoming a constraint. It also means Marla sits steadily in open anchorages that shorter-legged yachts approach nervously. The 2026 refit brought technical upgrades that complement the hull's inherent capability. This is a motor yacht for charter that was built to last and has been maintained to prove it.
Accommodation
ACCOMMODATION
Marla accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 cabins, each carrying the warm, considered finish that defines Terence Disdale's work throughout this Amels motor yacht. The master suite occupies the full beam of the main deck, with a king bed, a private office area and a generous en suite. Below decks, the guest staterooms are arranged across three doubles and two twins, all with private en suite facilities and the same attention to materials and detail that the public spaces display. A further single cabin with Pullman berth aft of the master offers practical flexibility for families travelling with a nanny or younger guests needing their own space. The 2026 refit has refreshed the interiors throughout. Thirteen crew ensure the standard of care in every cabin matches the standard of the design.

Service
SERVICE
Marla's crew of 13 has spent multiple seasons together, and that continuity shows in everything they do. The team is well-regarded across the charter circuit for excellent, intuitive service. The chef is one of the standout reasons guests return, working with the best seasonal produce the Eastern Mediterranean offers and adapting every meal to the preferences of whoever is on board. The crew manage the water sports programme, the Goldfish tender, the jet skis and the daily logistics with the ease of a group who know the yacht and each other well.
Toys
TOYS
The 2026 refit brought Marla's toy collection fully up to date. Two fully refurbished jet skis deliver the surface energy. Two F9 Seabobs take guests beneath it. A new inflatable water slide transforms any swim platform call into something more theatrical, and an extensive selection of towables and watersports equipment covers every mood and ability level. Leading the tender fleet is a brand-new 2026 Goldfish 23' tender, a stylish, capable vessel that handles transfers, beach runs and coastal exploring with real personality. With 13 crew on hand to manage every deployment, the water sports programme aboard Marla runs without waiting and without friction.
