All yachts take you places. This one takes you beyond the map. La Datcha is a 77-metre expedition yacht designed for guests who want access, autonomy and comfort in equal measure. Ice-classed and Polar Code compliant, this explorer yacht for charter travels confidently between polar regions and the tropics, carrying everything needed for long periods at sea. Launched by Damen in 2020, she pairs serious expedition capability with stylish, considered living spaces and a crew experienced in operating far from the ordinary.

La Datcha’s steel hull and purposeful design allow her to operate in environments most yachts never reach. Expedition capability sits at the core, from ice-class certification to enhanced storage, fuel capacity and systems designed for sustained use. Everything is planned to support long, self-sufficient cruising without compromising comfort.

Interiors by Vasiliy Shprits feel relaxing and grounding. Muted tones, natural materials and carefully chosen details keep attention on the scenery outside. Full-height windows fill the main saloon, observation lounge and owner’s areas with light, making landscape and seascape part of daily life on board.

Deck spaces are generous and purposeful. The bow observation lounge offers forward-facing views, while the upper observation deck, nine metres above the waterline, becomes a natural gathering point. Whether watching whales surface or ice drift past, guests stay connected to their surroundings.

La Datcha welcomes up to 12 guests across six cabins. The main Owner’s suite includes a private observation lounge and deck area, creating a quiet retreat even during busy days. A second Owner’s suite and a VIP cabin offer the same sense of space and privacy, each with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.

A crew of 25 supports La Datcha’s ambitious programme. Used to remote operations and complex logistics, the team manages everything from heli-ops to dive planning with quiet confidence. The result is a charter that feels smooth and unforced, even in the most demanding locations.

La Datcha carries one of the most extensive expedition toy collections available for charter. Helicopters extend reach inland and onto ice, while tenders and RIBs provide access to remote coastlines. Beneath the surface, the private submersible reveals marine worlds few ever see.
