The Suite That Changes Everything

The master suite aboard Blue Moon occupies the full beam of the main deck and runs to approximately 1,200 square feet. Welcome to your private residence at sea. A king bed, his-and-her en suite with soaking tub and separate shower, a dedicated private study with workstation, and a private gym of its own. Donald Starkey's interiors reach their most ambitious point here, balancing generosity of scale with warmth of finish in a way that takes real craft to achieve.

Three Ways to Stay in Shape

Blue Moon takes the wellness brief seriously, and three separate gym areas make that very clear. The master suite has its own private gym, so the owner's guests never have to share. A second fully equipped gym sits on the lower guest deck, available to all. And forward on the sundeck, a third open-air workout space sits alongside the Jacuzzi, where the line between exercise and relaxation dissolves completely. It is an arrangement found on very few 60-metre motor yachts for charter, and it means that however large the group and however varied the fitness habits, nobody is ever waiting for equipment or looking for space.

Observation Deck, Bridge Deck and Sundeck

Blue Moon's upper decks each have their own character, and each earns its place. The observation deck sits behind floor-to-ceiling glass, insulated from the elements but completely connected to the view, with a skylight above and a reading nook that feels more like a private club. The bridge deck carries an oval dining table that seats up to 14, with a full bar and games table in the sky lounge aft and retractable glass partitions that open the dining area to the outside when the weather invites it. On the sundeck, the Jacuzzi takes centre stage forward, flanked by sunpads, a wet bar and a BBQ grill set up for alfresco meals at any hour.

The chef is culinary trained, working across multiple settings from the formal main deck table to the bridge deck panoramic dining room and the sundeck BBQ. The deck crew manages the 1972 Riva, the 2021 Chris Craft Catalina, the kite board and the full water sports programme with the ease of a team that knows the waters well.. The yacht is also fully wheelchair accessible, with the glass cylinder elevator reaching all four decks and flush thresholds throughout.

The fully restored 1972 Riva Super Aquarama seats up to eight guests and is as much an object of desire as a means of transport. For contemporary performance, a 2021 Chris Craft 27-foot Catalina handles water sports, transfers and day trips with authority. On the water, a Cabrina kite board with wing foil brings cutting-edge riding to the programme, alongside a towable wake foil for those who want to experience gliding above the surface. A wakeboard, water skis, kneeboard and inflatable tube cover the classics. Three kayaks, two paddleboards and 15 sets of snorkelling equipment serve those who prefer their exploration at a quieter pace.
