From the moment you step aboard Jemasa, you’ll journey through pristine lagoons, coral-fringed islets, and vibrant reef systems teeming with marine life—from Giant Oceanic Mantas to schools of Barracuda.
Day 01
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Lae airport, followed by a direct transfer to Jemasa. From here, we’ll cruise to the tranquil lagoon of Tami Tami Island, where the yacht anchors in calm, turquoise waters. Known for its rich cultural heritage, the island offers a chance to discover and collect beautifully carved ceremonial masks and wooden artefacts. Spend the afternoon diving the outer reef, paddle boarding, kayaking, or simply soaking in the serenity.
Day 02
Today’s adventure takes you to Borgen Bay, a site steeped in WWII history. Explore underwater landscapes where Scalloped Hammerheads, Spotted Eagle Rays, and Grey Reef Sharks are frequently seen. A highlight is the newly discovered cleaning station for the elusive Giant Oceanic Manta. Above water, the area offers a fascinating glimpse into the past with remnants of wartime artefacts.
Day 03
Cruise northeast to Garove Island, home to a vast lagoon and vibrant barrier reef. Dive into spectacular reef and pinnacle sites teeming with marine life, or try paddle boarding in the calm waters. Offshore, the area is known for striped and black marlin grounds. On land, enjoy a captivating tribal dance performance that offers insight into local traditions.
Day 04
Anchor among coral-fringed islets perfect for a relaxed beach barbecue. The nearby pinnacles provide excellent diving conditions, with clear visibility and thriving fish populations, including resident reef sharks.
Day 05
Begin with a short cruise to Kimbe Island for a deep pinnacle dive surrounded by schools of Batfish and Barracuda. Then continue to the Wulai Islands, where a peaceful lagoon invites exploration by kayak or paddle board.
Day 06
After an overnight cruise, arrive at the stunning Telele Islands. Anchor inside a pristine lagoon and enjoy a full day of diving, snorkeling, and paddle boarding in every direction. The setting is perfect for both adventure and relaxation.
Day 07
Cruise to Kokopo on the eastern tip of New Britain. Ashore, explore Japanese WWII tunnels and enjoy a traditional mumu feast. The evening culminates with the dramatic Bainings Fire Dance—a cultural experience not to be missed.
Day 08
Discover Djaul Island’s sheer wall drift dive and scenic anchorage. The island’s coastline is ideal for snorkeling and kayaking, offering a peaceful day of exploration and marine encounters.
Days 09 - 11
Cruise overnight to New Ireland, where fast-moving currents between the islands create thrilling passage dives. Expect encounters with large pelagics, vibrant schools of Barracuda, and walls of soft coral. For history enthusiasts, there’s a dive site featuring the Japanese ship Sanko Maru and a WWII mini-submarine. Your journey concludes in Kavieng, where you’ll disembark with unforgettable memories.
