It has to be seen to be believed. Temples, palm trees, coral reefs, crater lakes, hiking country, waves, national parks, water falls, and beaches. Experience once-in--a-lifetime marine and wildlife encounters amongst some of the world's most dramatic landscapes.

Bali

1

Indonesia’s best-known island, also known as ‘island of the gods’ and where almost everything has a spiritual meaning. Experience the rich and diverse culture with religious sites and temples, or the peaceful yoga and meditation retreats of Ubud. The island is also known for its stunning beaches, coral reefs, and iconic rice paddies. Mount Agung, an active volcano, is the highest point on Bali and where traditional Hindu believes 'the gods reside'.

Gili Trawangan

2

Just off north-western Lombo you have 3 idyllic islands known as 'The Gilis'. Guests can enjoy that iconic island experience with sparkling turquoise waters, palm trees that line white sandy beaches and beach bars serving your choice of cocktail fresh out a coconut. Anchor at Gili Trawangan and explore all 3 Gili islands at your leisure. Choose where and how you’d like to spend your day. Walk in search of shells, kayak around the island, or simply lay back and enjoy the view. Island life at its best.

Sumbawa

3

A diverse landscape of sandy beaches, surfable waves, dry expanses of grassland, rice fields and volcanic ridges. Sumbawa really is renowned for its spectacular surf, beautiful reefs and amazing views. You may even get to swim with a whale shark. In the main town of Sumbawa Besar stroll through the Sultan’s Palace or explore parts of the island where the more traditional ways of living continue, and rituals such as water buffalo racing still take place.

Satonda

4

An island formed from the eruption of Mount Satonda thousands of years ago, is now famous for its spectacular crater lake. Take a swim, or embark on the climb up to the rim where you will be rewarded with unforgettable views of the crater and surrounding ocean. Back at sea, snorkel above the coral reefs before settling down to watch a sunset that will take your breath away.

Batu Moncho

5

Batu Moncho is the extreme north-west point of Komodo Island. Look for many different moray eels, nudibranchs, squat lobsters, lionfish and puffer fish as you snorkel in the shallow section of Coral Garden.
Take a relaxing stroll on the beach or, for something more challenging, hike to the top of the ridge. Observe stag and deer as well as sea eagles and brahminy kites along the ridges high up on the hills on the way up. You’ll find great views at the summit, particularly to Sangeang Island to the west and Komodo National Park in the east.

Gili Lawa Laut

6

Gili Lawa Laut and its close neighbour Gili Lawa Darat, off the north east corner of Komodo, play host to some of the area’s best hiking country. Tracks up onto the hills that give stunning views out and over the park. The islands have wonderful beaches where the snorkelling is calm, clear and colourful. Dive at shotgun, crystal rock and castle rock.

Padar

6

Trekking, snorkelling, beachcombing –welcome to Padar Island. Take a tender to explore the fascinating rock formations around the Rocky coastline, inlets and neighbouring islets. Take an easy trek up over a small ridge on the main island - the tender can collect you on the other side. Padar Island features pink sand beaches – head to the West of the island to take in amazing sunset panoramas. ‘W’ reef is the island’s signature dive site, a collection of three large coral-covered sea mounts.

Rinca

7

A centre of wildlife smaller than Komodo, Rinca is home to the Loh Liang National Park. Take a guided hike around the island spotting more fearsome dragons, water buffalo and crab eating macaque – these birds can’t be seen on Komodo. Honeymoon Rock is an excellent dive site. And in Wainilu Island, take an unforgettable night dive.

Nusa Kode

7

Nestled in the centre of the horseshoe that makes up Horseshoe Bay, Nusa Kode is characterised by large, coral-encrusted boulders and huge groupers. Around the coral, you’ll find some of the largest reef fish in Komodo National Park – the giant grouper, potato cod and malabar grouper. Schools of bohar snapper are plentiful. A wealth of dive sites housing a huge range of colourful sea life in vibrant reds, pinks and yellows, include Cannibal Rock, Yellow Wall and Torpedo Alley.

Labuan Bajo

8

Labuan Bajo, thought to have once been underwater, is now a picture-perfect fishing town located on the west coast of the island of Flores. Explore the true natural wonder of the mirror cave ‘Goa Batu Cermin’, swim in the cave lake of Rangkor, or visit the Cunca Wulang waterfall. From an idyllic harbour, watch one of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see.
