Your crew will greet you as you touch down in La Romana and transfer you to your yacht, which is waiting at La Casa de Campo Marina. The first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa De Campo is a truly luxurious retreat, loved by jetsetters and celebrities alike for its safe, exclusive and stunning setting. Santo Domingo, known to locals as ‘La Capital’ is a mosaic of culture and colour and, were it not for the glimpses of turquoise sea between the colonial-era architecture, you could be forgiven for forgetting you’re in the Caribbean at all. The Zona Colonial, at the city’s heart, is home to the oldest surviving European fortress, as well one of the oldest churches in the Caribbean. It’s also intensely urban, and counts vibrant cultural institutions and world-class restaurants amongst its attractions.

Just six-square miles in size, and part of the Parque Nacional del Este, Catalina island boasts immaculate beaches, and clear, shallow waters, perfect for wake boarding, jet skiing and all the watersports you wish. There are colourful reefs teeming with sea life just a short snorkel from the shore, and divers of all levels can enjoy El Acuario, where some shipwrecks are decorated with colourful corals. You may be lucky enough to meet Francois – a large barracuda often seen swimming alone or protecting a school of small fish from the barracuda family. Mottled eagle rays, porcupine fish and parrotfish can also be spotted.

Cruise to Bayahibe. Here you will find a beautiful secluded beach. The sheltered anchorage is perfect for snorkeling and has some excellent scuba diving spots, including the wrecks of St George, just half a mile from the Viva Dominicus beach, and the Atlantic Princess, a shallow wreck which is accessible even for novice divers. After a morning dive, head ashore for lunch on the beach, then return to your waiting yacht for watersports in the afternoon.

Saona Island is the ultimate Dominican Republic paradise. With postcard-worthy beaches and shallow waters that glow a delicious turquoise, it’s the kind of tropical destination that makes other islands pale in comparison. The island is part of the Parque Nacional del Este and is home to one of its biggest attractions, The Natural Pool. Created by a massive sandbar, this is the biggest natural swimming pool in the world. Here you can walk out hundreds of feet into the ocean, the water only waist-depth, or explore with the paddle boards and kayaks, spotting the starfish that reside on the sandy seabed.

Take the tender ashore where your crew will set up a private beach barbeque. We’ll entertain you with a mesmerising display from local dancers and a demonstration from an authentic Dominican cigar roller, while your chef prepares freshly caught fish infused with local ingredients.

Blessed with one of the region’s longest white sand coastlines, with 48km of palm-tree lined beach bliss, Puna Cana is a tropical island fantasy. Peppered with boutique hideaways, word-class golf courses and chic resorts from the northern tip of Uvero Alto to the southern at Cap Cana, with a coast that’s studded with luxury marinas and fine dining, you’ll find plenty to do here.

Overnight cruise to Silver bank, Dominican Republic – Anchor off Cabrera for the evening. An irregularly shaped submerged limestone plateau 80 miles north of the Dominican Republic, the Silver Bank is part of the country’s Marine Mammal Sanctuary, and the place where thousands of humpback whales congregate every year between mid-December and late March to mate, give birth and nurse their young.

After an overnight cruise, we’ll arrive in Cabarete, on the Dominican Republic’s Northern costs. Protected by a coral reef, it boasts calm waters which, combined with the breezy conditions caused by consistent trade winds, make it a world-class kiteboarding, windsurfing and laser sailing destination. Surfers in the group can take the tender to nearby Encuentro beach, which offers conditions for every level of surfer, from beginners right up to the most thrill-seeking, who will love Destroyers and Coco Pipe.
