My Story
I came into yachting from the land, meaning that I first approached the field from an academic perspective, by attending a post-graduate master in yacht design in Milan and jumping immediately after that into the yacht construction world, working in renowned Italian yards. During those years, I was able to develop an understanding of the needs and the constraints behind new builds and refits, by supervising projects from hull construction to final delivery.
What I find amazing about the yachting industry is the possibility of approaching the field from different backgrounds, so that different expertise come together to achieve a successful project. Which is why working in Y.CO is fun, as different people, each with a different skill set, combine to our clients’ satisfaction.
My Passion
To keep myself dynamic, I like running and what a better landscape could possibly be than Port Hercules in Monaco, with yachts in plain sight… it simply doesn’t get any better than that. Good thing that I like running, as it balances out with my other hobby, which is cooking good, tasty and healthy food for my wife and little son!
My ideal vacation is to explore any locations I have never visited, enjoying cultural, social and culinary (not surprisingly!) aspects.
