My Story

Born into a seafaring family, I grew up messing about in boats and helping in the family boatyard on the south coast of England. Holidays were spent afloat, exploring Europe, with Greece becoming a home from home in my teens. I studied Physical Geography at University College London, majoring in coastal geomorphology and meteorology - so representing the university sailing team felt like a natural extension of my studies! Four years of study were interspersed with summers working as a sailing instructor in the Mediterranean. Ahead of uni, I spent a year indulging my passion for cooking at the prestigious Leiths School of Food and Wine, later using my culinary skills to fund my studies, sailing, and extensive travels.

Three Decades in Yachting

Joining the yachting industry allowed me to combine my love of the sea, travel, and fabulous food - a great decision, as 30 years on I’m just as excited to talk yachts, menus, and cruising destinations. Being onboard yachts, working with their crews, and discovering new cruising grounds are the best parts of the job. I also serve on an advisory panel to the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association and mentor the next generation of Y.CO charter professionals. With three decades of super yachting behind me, there is still nothing more satisfying than working with the team to design the perfect combination of yacht, crew, and destination to create an unforgettable experience and lasting memories for our owners and guests.
