My Story

After eighteen years in commercial shipping, classification and yacht management, I'm used to keeping complex operations running smoothly and have a good instinct for spotting and dealing with issues early, before they become expensive or disruptive.

Originally from Brittany, I began my career as a Classification Society surveyor, overseeing the construction of LNG carriers, offshore vessels and cruise ships. I’ve since lived and worked in China, South Korea and the UAE before discovering superyachts in the South of France. After completing an MBA, I moved into the Monaco yachting sector, specialising in compliance, crewing and fleet management.

Today, I work closely with owners, captains and crews, helping them navigate operational and regulatory challenges and finding solutions that are both practical and compliant. For me, paying attention to the small things early is often what makes the biggest difference.

18+ years in the maritime industry

Led the construction and survey of LNG carriers, offshore vessels and cruise ships

Fleet operations, compliance, crewing and DPA/CSO leadership experience

Managed safety and crew operations across fleets of more than 100 vessels

Worked and lived in France, China, South Korea and the UAE

Extensive experience working with flag states, classification societies and maritime regulators

Beyond Yachting

Family is at the centre of life outside work. I enjoy running, gym training and calisthenics, and after years of living around the world, I still love discovering new places and cultures. If I could jump on a plane tomorrow, South Korea would be high on the list for its food, energy and atmosphere.

What kind of problem do I most enjoy solving?

The ones where there isn’t an obvious answer. I enjoy bringing the right people together to find solutions that are both practical and compliant.

What has experience taught me to spot early?

Small issues that have the potential to become big ones. Whether operational, regulatory or crew-related, they’re almost always easier to deal with early.

What do I enjoy most about my role?

The variety and the people. I enjoy working with captains, crews and colleagues from different backgrounds while helping solve real operational challenges.

What’s something people are usually surprised to learn about me?

My wife and I have been together for more than 20 years. We’ve shared plenty of adventures and moves around the world, and I don’t think I would have achieved what I have without her support.
