My Story

I grew up spending summers on the water in the South of France, sailing with family and friends across the Mediterranean, long before yachting was ever a career option. That said, my first brush with the sea wasn't exactly smooth: falling off a laser during sailing lessons in Port Hercules and swallowing a fair bit of harbour water in the process.

My path there wasn't direct, though. I spent close to a decade working up to a senior advisory role handling a large company's most complicated cases: CEO-level complaints, contract and billing disputes, negotiations with customers who weren't in the mood to be reasonable. That job taught me most "difficult" situations aren't personal, they're just unresolved, and staying calm and precise moves them forward faster than being defensive ever does. Around the same time, I spent almost a year in Peru helping build an orphanage from nothing: scouting land, securing permits, raising funds. Different world, same instinct: work out what needs to happen, then take it step by step.

That's exactly what I bring to Charter Accounts, keeping every financial detail precise, payments on schedule, APA reports accurate with captains. Preparation matters, but staying flexible when plans shift is what really shapes a good outcome.

Beyond Yachting

Travel is where my personality really comes out — not for the sights, but for the food, the local music, and conversations with people who see the world completely differently to me. Back home, I'm usually found picking up an instrument; I play a fair few, none particularly well, but well enough to clear my head after a long day.

What drew me to yachting?

Growing up in the South of France, I spent several summer holidays sailing across the Mediterranean with family and friends — that's honestly where the pull toward this industry started, from a very early age.

Mountains or sea?

Sea, always! We're lucky enough to have both close by, but nothing beats that feeling of freedom looking out at an open horizon.

What do I enjoy most about my role?

Every charter is different, with its own priorities and challenges — I love that variety, because it means no two days are ever quite the same.

What's always on my playlist?

I can't get through a day without music. My taste is pretty eclectic, but I always find my way back to classic rock!

What's the most valuable lesson I've learned from working in yachting?

I can't always solve everything on my own — but Y.CO has a team of specialists across every domain, and that's pushed me to work more as a team and learn from everyone else's expertise.
