“The numbers matter, but it’s the people behind them that I enjoy most.”

My Story

I grew up in Dublin, but the south of France has felt like home ever since I moved to Nice in 2016. Arriving without speaking a word of French, I made it my mission to become fluent and build a life for myself there. After a brief return to Ireland during Covid, I realised just how much I missed the Côte d’Azur and returned in 2021.

I joined Y.CO in 2023 and have worked across Front of House, Office Management and now Charter Accounts Support. Today, I work closely with captains, pursers, brokers and charter managers, helping the financial side of every charter run smoothly. What I enjoy most is that the role is as much about people as it is about numbers, building relationships, solving problems and supporting crew throughout the charter process.

Beyond Yachting

Away from work, I’m usually training for my next fitness challenge, cycling around Nice with my daughter or planning future adventures. I can also spend far longer than is reasonable discussing Harry Potter, Friends or home interiors.

What do I enjoy most about my role?

The people, whether that's supporting crew, solving problems or building relationships along the way.

What's the biggest misconception about what I do?

That it's all numbers, when in reality it's just as much about people and communication.

What has experience taught me to spot early?

The small inconsistencies that are much easier to fix before they become bigger problems.

What would my friends call me for help with?

Flights, travel plans and any logistical puzzle that needs solving.

What's one thing still on my bucket list?

Taking my daughter to Lapland, which I hope to do this winter.

What's always on my playlist?

Two Door Cinema Club. Being Irish, I may be a little biased.

What's my hidden talent?

I can do a full Irish dance jig after spending years learning in school when I was younger.
